Steven T Richards

FIPSA, FIAPC (UK), FRSPH, FRSA, Clin Fellow NPSA

Steve is co-founder of the Psycho-Systems Analysis modality of Jungian-based psychodynamic psychotherapy and depth psychology. With 43 years of clinical experience in the UK NHS and in private practice, he has been training psychotherapists since 1988. He has extensive experience with governing bodies in psychotherapy and has served on professional committees for psychotherapy& counselling, in the UK and in Europe. With his wife, Pauline, he introduced clinical respiratory psychophysiology, into UK Primary Health Care, publishing on this at the XIIth International Symposium on Respiratory Psychophysiology, at the Wellcome Centre, London, in September 1993. He is a published author on psychotherapy, and a creative novelist and screenwriter, having worked as a project manager and film producer in the movie industry, on Jungian-based movie projects; under a professional nom-de-plume. He is a Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counseling (FIAPC (UK)), Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Fellow of The Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), Clinical Fellow of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society (Clin.Fellow NPSA), Member of the International Society for the Advancement of Respiratory Psychophysiology (ISARP), and Member of the International Society for Human Ethology (ISHE). He currently serves as UK Country Chair, for IAPC.

Pauline A Richards

Dip.COT, FIPSA, FIAPC (UK), FRSPH, FRSA, Clin Fellow NPSA

Pauline is co-founder of the Psycho-Systems Analysis modality of Jungian-based psychodynamic psychotherapy and depth psychology. With 43 years of clinical experience in the UK NHS and in private practice, she has been training psychotherapists since 1988. As an NHS manager, Pauline pioneered the introduction of Psycho-Systems Analysis into acute and chronic psychiatric Occupational Therapy service provision. With her husband, Steve, she introduced clinical respiratory psychophysiology, into UK Primary Health Care, publishing on this at the XIIth International Symposium on Respiratory Psychophysiology, at the Wellcome Centre, London, in September 1993. She is a published author on psychotherapy and a concept artist and screenwriter, having worked as a project manager and film producer in the movie industry, working on Jungian-based movie projects. She is a Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counseling (FIAPC (UK)), Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Fellow of The Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH), Clinical Fellow of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society (Clin.Fellow NPSA), Member of the International Society for the Advancement of Respiratory Psychophysiology (ISARP), and Member of the International Society for Human Ethology (ISHE).

Paul Dunne

FIAPC (UK)

Following a 20 year career in business, rising to director of the UK arm of a US based multinational corporation, Paul changed course, trained as a counsellor, worked in NHS Primary Care and in 2001 qualified as a transpersonal psychotherapist at the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology. He later went on to serve in the roles as a teacher, company secretary and chief executive of the Centre over a number of years. Alongside his work as a psychotherapist Paul gained a reputation as an executive coach combining both his psychotherapeutic skills and business experience. Paul teaches a form of meditation based on mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Paul is a Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counselling (FIAPC (UK)) and serves on the UK Curatorium for IAPC.

Dr. Erik Goodwyn

MD, FIPSA

Dr Goodwyn, is Assistant Professor & Director of Psychotherapy Training, at the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Sciences, Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Goodwyn has Post-Residency in Psychodynamic Training, Psychotherapy and Supervision. Topics include psychodynamic methods, analytical psychology, dream analysis, and relationship between spirituality and psychology. He also has formal accredited post-graduate training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD. Goodwyn is an Instructor at the University of Louisville, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences. He supervises long-term psychotherapy for psychiatric residents, is an instructor for medical students and residents, provides clinical care (including medication management and psychotherapy for diverse populations) and completes research and academic writing. Dr. Goodwyn has received numerous awards and recognition: Three-time winner Pi-Mu-Epsilon Award for excellence in scholarship in mathematics, winner of Sigma-Pi-Sigma Award for excellence in scholarship in physics, First Prize Winner of the Abe Heller Essay contest in Psychiatry, received multiple "Outstanding Team" Nuclear Surety Inspections awards, and most recently, led the Global Strike Command Behavioural Health Team of the Year. He is the co-editor in chief, of the peer reviewed: International Journal of Jungian Studies.

Dr. Eric B. Litwack

PhD, UKCP (Reg), FIAPC (UK)

Dr Eric B. Litwack is a psychotherapist and philosopher. He has also worked as an ethics consultant to the private sector, as well as to the British and Canadian governments.
Eric trained and qualified as an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the Bowlby Centre of London, where he also taught psychoanalytic theory. He has also been a BACP counsellor, and he is currently a UKCP member. He can work in both English and French.
Eric is currently an Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Sheffield, and he teaches philosophy and information studies at Syracuse University London
He is an Accredited Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counselling - FIAPC (UK) - and serves on the Curatorium of the UK Chapter of IAPC.

Graham Johnston

MBA, UKCP (Reg), BACP (Reg), FIAPC (UK)

Graham Johnston is a therapist, coach and co-founder of London Centre for Applied Psychology, which provides evidence-based training to mental health professionals and consults to business on mental health and wellbeing at work.
He is co-author of "A Straight Talking Introduction to Therapy: what it is, why it works, how to get it" (PCCS Books, 2023).
He trained at, and was Director of Policy at, The Bowlby Centre, the UK's leading attachment theory training institution, has studied in the US and has an MBA from Imperial College, London.
He writes and speaks on relationships and parenting in the 21st century, the challenges of midlife, and how therapy sits alongside developments in technology, A.I., psychedelics and psychiatric medication.
Prior to retraining as a therapist, Graham worked for two decades at the centre of government on some of the most complex problems facing the country.
He is an Accredited Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counselling - FIAPC (UK) - and serves on the Curatorium of the UK Chapter of IAPC.

Mary J. Garner

Mary has over 30 years’ experience in psychotherapy.
She is a British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, Senior Accredited Psychotherapist (BACP Senior Accred). She has Specialist Trauma experience at the Maudsley Hospital in London, UK. She has training in Dynamic Interpersonal therapy, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). She has further training in Dramatherapy, and is a qualified Clinical Supervisor. She is an Accredited Fellow Registrant of the International Association for Psychology & Counselling - FIAPC (UK) - and serves on the Curatorium of the UK Chapter of IAPC.

James Dowling is a Depth Psychologist and Molecular Biologist. Co-Founding Jung To Live By with Steve and Pauline Richards, he is being professionally mentored by both in Psycho-Systems Analysis. James has a Masters by Research degree in Cell Biology, a Diploma in Psycho-Systems Analysis, a Clinical Fellowship in Neuropsychoanalysis (NPSA) and IPSA Accredited Supervisor recognition.

Dr. Harriet Ellis

Harriet Ellis is a Doctor of Molecular Biology and Depth Psychologist with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Neurohypnoanalysis) and Diploma in Psycho-Systems Analysis (Dip.PSA). Harriet is interested in the application of recent Molecular Biology advances to the understanding of Hypnosis and Depth Psychology. Dr. Graeme Athey

Dr Graeme Athey has worked for over twenty years in the education and training sector, Further & Higher Education. Graeme is currently the Principal of a charitable Trust in the South West of the UK providing specialist education and training programmes. As an experienced Senior Leader he has strategic responsibility for education and training programmes within a specialist college, a national training centre and a multi-disciplinary team of therapists. His expertise focuses on neurodivergent pedagogy and developing best practice in therapeutic and specialist interventions for learning. He has delivered training across the UK, working with a range of private and public sector organisations. He started his training with the C.G Jung Centre, Dublin, from which he was awarded an Advanced Diploma in Jungian Studies. He is a member of IPSA, and an educational and training consultant both to IPSA and to IAPC UK, and has MIAPC UK (Accred) Registration at the International Association of Psychology and Counselling (UK).

Chris Lomas

Psychotherapist and psychologist in post lecturing with Salford University in the school of Health & Society. Program Lead for the university's Advanced Psychotherapy & Counselling MSc. Duties also include research proposal ethics review, admissions and delivering lectures on graduate and post-graduate courses in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Primary training was in Psycho-Systems Analysis under the personal mentorship of the founders of the modality, Steve and Pauline Richards, through which he earned his Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH), Diploma in Respiratory Psychophysiology (Dip.RespPsych), Diploma in Psycho-Systems Analysis (Dip.PSA) and Teaching Diploma (TD.IPSA). Actively researching Clinical Capnography under the direction of Steve and Pauline Richards. He is a Clinical Fellow of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society (Clin.Fellow NPSA). He has MIAPC UK (Accred) Registration at the International Association of Psychology and Counselling (UK).
